Metropolitan Museum of Art
The Metropolitan Museum of Art, also called the Met, is one of the largest and most important art museum in the world. It is located at the East side of Central Park. Solomon R. Guggenheim museum
The Guggenheim museum is a world-famous museum , with a permanent collection and incredible temporarily collections. It isn´t just famous because of the artworks, the museum is mainly famous because of the architecture of the building. It is seen as one of the most beautiful buildings in the world and therefore you should visit it when you´re in New York City. The building was built in 1959 and designed by Frank Loyd Wright. Ellis Island Immigration museum
Ellis island was used as a border for immigrants who wanted to fulflil their dreams in the United States of America. From Manhattan you can only reach Ellis Island by ferry. The ferry has stops at Liberty Island and at Ellis Island. The ferry is very popular among tourists and it takes an entire day. On Ellis island, the Ellis Island Immigration museum was built. Museum of Modern Art
The Museum of Modern Art, also called MoMA, is located in Midtown Manhattan underneath Central Park. MoMA is one of the world´s leading modern art museums. The Museum of Modern Art is a relative small museum compared to the Met. The MoMA is a must visit if you love modern art.
